 HYDRANT FLUSHING

SPRING 2008 Schedule

Due to safety concerns, Fire hydrant flushing will be conducted throughout Monroe Township during daylight hours of 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Completed

 

 

                                                                              

 

 

 

This is only a tentative schedule.  Adjustments may be necessary due to the changing conditions of this type of operation.  Therefore, some areas may take longer than others.

 

During flushing, low pressure and harmless discoloration may occur. Should this happen, please run your cold water later in the day until it clears  This condition should clear in a few hours. If conditions persist, please call our offices at 732-521-1700 or 609-655-1050.  If you are planning to replace your water filter, please wait until the Monroe Township Municipal Utilities Authority has finished there semi-annual flushing.

Helpful Hints during Hydrant Flushing
During flushing, low pressure and a harmless discoloration may occur. This condition should clear in a few hours. If not, run cold water for a few minutes to flush your service line. If conditions persist, please call (732) 521-1700 or (609) 655-1050.
